Flourish Skincare
Gavino, Gwendolyn. Flourish Branding and Packaging Concept Project, 2026.

Overview:
This concept project was done for a fake skincare brand I made up called Flourish. The goal was to create a skincare brand that would appeal to and attract mainly a female audience within a target consumer age range of teens to late forties. The branding is colorful with a floral theme to create a clean yet bright feel associated with the brand, its products, and the brand name. The design of the skincare products in an airless pump jar with a unique Russian rose piping tip inspired nozzle that produces a rose shaped dollop of face cream when pushed is something that would make the brand stand out and most likely make it a trending skincare line (as seen with the success of Drunk Elephants whipped face cream line that went viral for its airless pump jar). The logo design for the brand includes a rose above the name, which was designed from the same shapes on the product’s nozzle that cause it to produce a rose. This design choice for the rose in the logo was done to both reinforce consistency and to remind the consumer of the pump feature that would be the biggest aesthetic draw to the brand. For the design choices made for the packaging, I chose a hexagon shape to make the product stand out on the shelf and to have six lateral faces to display the logo and information, making a consumer more likely to pick it up to see what each face looks like. I also chose to do a cut-out of the brand’s rose on the top of the packaging to add a subtle unique feature and to make it recognizable when viewing from above.
