Mémoire Wine

Overview:

This is a concept project I did for a faux wine brand I named Mémoire. I wanted to create a wine brand with a modern, bright, and fun feel that would catch a customer’s attention from the shelf. This is why I designed each label with a color that associates with the type of wine in a bright ombre style, countered with a modern cursive-like typeface vertically orientated though the center. I also wanted to represent this wine brand as the kind to bring to an event or to a gathering with friends or family, which is why most of the visuals for the wines show it in either a group setting or in a setting meant to be shared. This is also why I decided on the name “Mémoire,” which is French for memory, to associate the wine with making memories with others, but chose to make the name French for its aesthetic spelling and to give the brand a slightly elegant or “fancy” quality that is often associated with the French language when it comes to food and beverages.
