Overview:

This is the logo redesign I did for a local business called The Hissin’ Kitten. The Hissin’ Kitten is a small business selling stickers, magnets, pins, and keychains with a feminine and edgy style focusing on woman empowerment and social justice. For this redesing, I kept the imagery of the original logo because of its close tie to the brand, but went with a sharper and more defined design style and added some additional expressive features to the cat in the logo. While the original logo has a more hand-drawn style, I choose to go with a sharper and more defined graphic style to reflect the stylistic change of the brand as they have moved towards this style with their sticker, magnet, pin, and keychain designs.
