Overview:

This is the logo design for the NMSU WERC Environmental Design Contest. The client wanted a design that incorporates environmental elements as well as atmosphere and space, with a color palette of consisting of either blues or greens and wanted the design to either be one solid color or at most, two. The client has yet to choose one of the proposed logo designs put forth by the Arrowhead Center design team but has narrowed their decision down to my logo design variations. For my designs, I have chosen an earthy green color to keep with the environmental theme of the logo and chose to incorporate elements of water, plants, space, mountains, and energy into each letter of WERC and to sit “WERC” on a horizon like curve to give the appearance of it sitting on top of the earth. Below are the different variations of my logo design.
